Jessica (Cormier) Spencer, a 1997 graduate of Bentley University, will be in her ninth year as the head field hockey coach at her alma mater during the 2016 season. She returned to Bentley in May 2008 after nine years as the head field hockey coach at Lasell College.

As Bentley's head coach, Spencer has directed the Falcons to a 90-66 record with three NCAA tournament berths.

In her first year, Spencer led Bentley to a 17-6 record (including a 16-game winning streak prior to the NCAA tournament), the Northeast-10 playoff championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II national semifinals.

The success continued in 2009 when Spencer directed the Falcons to a repeat NE-10 playoff crown and the program's sixth consecutive NCAA appearance.  Bentley also earned an NCAA tournament berth in 2012.

Spencer, a former two-time first-team Division II All-America for the Falcons, started the Lasell program from scratch after spending two years as an assistant coach at Bentley (1997-98). Her most successful season with the Lasers came in 2004 when her team finished at 11-8. In 2006, she was named the North Atlantic Conference co-Coach of the Year.

Susan Ciufo is in her second year as head coach of the Stonehill College field hockey program.

Ciufo maintained the high level of play at Stonehill in her first season as head coach, guiding the Skyhawks to a second straight Northeast-10 Conference Tournament championship as well as the program's seventh NCAA Tournament bid, earning the top seed in the North Region and a first round bye into the national semifinals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Erika Kelly became the program's first three-time first team All-American and was named the Division II Player of the Year by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association of America. In addition to two student-athletes earning All-America honors, three collected All-Northeast-10 accolades and three earned spots on the NE-10 Academic All-Conference team, while Sarah Morse was also named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America at large team.

Ciufo took over as head coach at Stonehill following two seasons as assistant coach at her alma mater, Drexel University. During her two seasons as an assistant coach under long-time head coach Denise Zelenak at Drexel, Ciufo worked with both the forwards and goalkeepers, preparing practice plans and developing their individual skills for game day. She had a focus on breaking down game film and recruiting student-athletes from across the country. The Dragons posted a 23-15 (.605) overall record in her two seasons as an assistant coach, including a 6-6 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association, posting a pair of wins over nationally-ranked University of Iowa in 2013 and Temple University in 2014. Drexel earned a spot in the 2013 CAA semifinals, posting a 13-7 record overall, including 4-2 in the CAA.

The 2016 season marks Kyle Lyons' third as an assistant coach with the Vermont field hockey program.

The Catamounts made tremendous strides in 2016, Lyons’ third year in Burlington. UVM matched its combined win total from the previous two seasons and won its first six home matches for the first time since 1979. Lauren Tucker received NFHCA All-Region recognition and three Catamounts, including Tucker, picked up America East All-Conference awards.

Lyons came to Vermont after spending two seasons as an assistant coach with the Bryant University field hockey program. She helped guide the Bulldogs to 17 wins overall, including seven in conference play, in her two seasons with the team.

Lyons is a 2012 graduate of New Hampshire, where she was a four-year defender and three-year starter for the Wildcats. She was named to the America East All-Conference First Team on two occasions and earned a spot on the all-tournament team as well. As a senior, Lyons was an NFHCA Second Team All-American, an ECAC First-Team All-Star, and was selected to play in the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game. Lyons also earned all-region honors in consecutive seasons in 2010 and 2011.

Five Hounds were named to All-Conference teams, three were placed on All-American teams, and one was placed on the National Rookie Team. Senior Kiley Colucci was named to the Northeast-10 First team All-Conference, was selected for the 2015 NFHCA Division II senior game, and also earned NFHCA Division II All-American honors.

In 2014, the Hounds posted a 12-7 record and advanced to the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament for the first time over a decade. Ranked No. 9 in the final National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division II National Poll, the team earned the No. 5 seed in the league tournament and was regionally ranked for much of the season.

Lahey has an overall career record of 28-42 at Assumption and was named as the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year. In 2014, she has three All-Conference players that included First Team selection Kiley Colucci. Overall, she has coached three All-Rookie Team selections (Paige Anderson 2011, Colucci 2012 and Allison Sheahan 2014) and nine Northeast-10 All-Conference players.

Bothner was hired to guide the Fisher field hockey team in the summer of 2014 and joined Fisher with a plethora of interscholastic coaching experience in the Monroe County area the past decades including working with athletes from Hilton, Gates-Chili, East Rochester, Webster Schroeder and Nazareth College.

In 2016, Bothner led the team to its most successful campaign in program history. She coached the team to a school record 19 wins, backed by an 18-game win streak that included a win over No. 9 University of Rochester. In post season action, Bothner helped earn the program's first ever Empire 8 Championship title as well as its first ever bid to the NCAA Championship. She found more success in the NCAAs as the team beat Rhodes College in the first round, before bowing out to Babson College in the Sweet 16. At the conclusion of the season, Bothner received plenty of recognition including North Atlantic Region Coach of the Year honors and ECAC North Atlantic Coach of the Year honors. Her and her assistants were named the Empire 8 Coaching Staff of the Year as well.

As the varsity coach of Gates Chili, Bothner was named the Monroe County Division I Coach of the Year in 2011, while also bringing the Webster Schroeder varsity squad to the sectional finals in 2013.
During the 2015 season, Bothner, the program's career leader in wins, led the Cardinals to an overall season record of 12-6, and 6-2 in conference action, marking it the most successful season in program history.
The East Rochester native has also been actively involved in the USA Field Hockey program through the years.  Bothner is Level II certified through the USA Field Hockey Coaching Accreditation Program and she coaches for the Under 19 Finger Lakes Field Hockey Club team.
