While at South Nottingham College he was on the team roster of the highly successful Soccer Academy program which has seen many current professional players graduate from and play/coach for English premier League teams such as Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Bradford City, Charlton Athletic, Leicester City, and Nottingham Forest.

He played college soccer for Sheffield Hallam University and was then recruited to come to the U.S. to coach at summer soccer camps.  After completing his degree in Sports Management, Graeme permanently moved to the U.S. to be the Director of camps for Challenger Sports and coach travel teams.  He has been developing and running soccer programs for the last ten years in the Unites States, Europe, and Africa. He has coached with the Sports Domain Academy (SDA), working with travel teams to design and begin a very successful academy program for pre travel players to learn the necessary skills and knowledge to aid them into the transition of competitive soccer.

Camp Details

Coach Jennings' coaching philosophy is based on players getting the maximum amount of touches on the ball per session.  He believes the more touches taken, the more confidence gained and therefore the better the footwork and game becomes. Friendly competition is a excellent driver for learning but also the skill to push yourself harder every single time can be the greatest motivator for success and development.

Coaches were helpful

This was my child's first year attending a Nike Soccer Camp. She really enjoyed it. She said that it was intense, the coaches were helpful, and she had a really good time. She will be going to Nike Soccer Camps in the future. Very beneficial!

Have seen her improvement first hand

This was my daughter's first sport camp ever. Even though she wasn't always energetic and was very nervous, she got up every morning and commuted an hour with me to camp because she wanted to be with the coaches. The coaches critique of her was spot on! We have started our soccer season now and I have first hand seen her improvement! Her coach has even commented on her improvement. Wish Coach Katie could've seen her play goalkeeper her first game! (She would''ve been proud!) We look forward to camp next summer! Thank you for providing this opportunity!

Better grouping of skill levels

Group the kids into skill/ability level so that more advanced kids are challenged, can improve their skills and understanding of the game, and are less frustrated by stating at the pace of kids with lower skill level/less experience.

Experienced coaches

The Nike Camp in Irvine was excellent. My son had a good time, learned new skills, learned to play well with a team and much more. Every morning he was excited to go back. The coaches were experienced in soccer and knew exactly what each child was good at or needed a little help with. We are looking forward to joining camp again next year. Thank you.

Bit of a free-for-all

The young children should scrimmage with the young. A 6 year old and 9 year old should not be scrimmaging eachother. Children should have an adult walk them to the restroom since it is out of view of the camp and their coaches. More individualized coaching during the game would be beneficial versus no was a bit of a free for all. The director was very kind and positive.
