"WE want our student/athletes to come away with the mind set that it is going to take 10,000 hours of hard work and determination to reach the level of play that each athlete desires to perform at. They need to know that the effort they put in is congruent to where they want to go. We will provide an experience that shows what it means and “how it feels”, to earn your wings to fly toward their goals, dreams, and aspirations. We will help student/athletes by providing necessary skills, tips, and drills that will help them on their journey. We will incorporate and instill positive self esteem, positive work ethic, and positive communication. We will show through collaboration that cooperative coaching environments that are inclusive empowers and inspires others to do better." - Coach Robin Penoyer
Check-in takes place between 8:45-9:00am Monday to Thursday. Please bring a bag lunch each day.
Camp concludes at 3:00pm Monday to Thursday.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
Set on a 285 acre hilltop, the Hackley campus houses beautiful academic building and exceptional athletics facilities rivaling many small colleges. The value of physical activity and the lessons drawn from athletics competition are central to Hackley’s educational mission, and our facilities reflect this commitment. The athletic facilities include two full-sized turf fields, a dedicated grass competition field with lights, three additional full-sized grass fields, 6 –lane competition track, a six-lane 25 yard pool, four international squash courts, a two-court competition gymnasium, a 3,000 sq ft. strength and conditioning center, five tennis courts, permanently fenced baseball and softball fields, and 6.4 miles of running trails. These facilities will only improve in the next three years with the completion of a $50 million health and wellness facility, which will include a new pool, expanded indoor gym space, state of the art strength and conditioning spaces, squash courts, and much, much more.
