The 3-day IM Super Clinic covers the front start including the ideal stance on the block, departure from the block, the underwater travel sequence and breakout, six individual medley turns, and the freestyle side-finish. The clinic also focuses on key areas of the four competitive strokes. Areas include the butterfly timing and chest press, the backstroke body rotation and arm entry, the breaststroke pull and kick cycle, and the freestyle stroke timing and recommended breathing pattern(s). In addition, swimmers will learn the ideal racing strategy and splitting for the 100, 200, and 400 Individual Medley.
All-together the Super Clinic includes: 6 challenging in-water training sessions, 3 yoga sessions, and 3 mental conditioning sessions.

The vast majority of competitive swimmers are in serious need of concentrated start and stroke work. It should be an ongoing process that continues throughout their swimming careers. Skills are never permanent and require constant attention and refinement. At Peak Performance Swim Camp, we offer a variety of impactful techniques and skill progressions that dramatically improve start and stroke technique. The techniques taught are extremely adaptable meaning swimmers can continue to use them upon returning to home pools.

The newly remodeled MPC swimming pool reopened in March of 2014. The college pool is a 25 yard, 8 lane infinity-edged outdoor pool kept at a comfortable 80 degrees.
