Come join the fun at the Westmont College Nike Baseball Camp. Gorgeous weather, superb instruction and great competition makes this a wonderful baseball camp experience.

Directing the camp is Tom Myers who serves as the Area Professional Scouting covering from San Luis Obispo to Long Beach CA. Our goal is for every camper to take their game to the next level, create lasting friendships, and have a good time.

    Tom Myers returns for his sixth summer as Director of the Nike Baseball Camps. Myers is a veteran of clinics and camps throughout the country and has previously spent 5 years playing professionally in the MLB and 13 years as a Division I assistant coach and pitching coach.

Camp Details

Development of physical and mental game fundamentals from professional instructors - teaching the game inside and out. Groups will be designated as High School (High Potential) or General Skills (ages 9-12) and is intended to give the player all the skills necessary to improve and take their game to the next level.  High School players will experience College Level workouts and received an entire college level training experience.

CHECK-IN

Sunday at 3 p.m. all Campers.   Day Campers received Dinner on Sunday and stay until 9 p.m.

CHECK-OUT

Camp concludes on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. There will be a brief awards ceremony prior to checkout. 

OVERNIGHT CAMP

A full baseball and living experience. Immerse yourself in baseball and new friends off and on the field.  Live, eat, breathe and sleep baseball!

DAY CAMP 

Sunday: 3 p.m.- 9 p.m.

Monday -Tuesday 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Wednesday. 9 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

Includes all baseball and night activities, dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday-Tuesday. Day campers will be picked up at 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, 3:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday 12:30 p.m. when camp ends. 

REGISTRATION PACKET

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.

  • 8:45 a.m. Arrival (Extended Day Campers), stretching
  • 9:00 a.m. Individual instruction and drill work
  • 11:30 a.m. Lunch/Free Time
  • 1:00 p.m. Instruction and drills, position play
  • 3:00 p.m. Day Campers Depart
  • 4:30 p.m. Free time, relax, visit with friends
  • 5:00 p.m. Dinner
  • 6:15 p.m. Chalk Talks
  • 8:30 p.m. Evening Activities
  • 10:00 p.m. Lights Out

Westmont Facility

RUSSELL CARR FIELD

Nike Baseball Campers will train at the home to Westmont Baseball, Russell Carr Field. The award-winning, natural grass field sits atop a state-of-the-art drainage system. The new facility includes two large dugouts, two batting cages, two bull pens, a 35-foot batter’s eye, a scoreboard and foul poles. Russ Carr Field commands majestic views of the Santa Ynez Mountains and offers a peek at the Pacific Ocean.
